On 9th of April, 2017, under the motto "Sustainable Development", the fourth international scientific conference was held at the University of Human Development in sulaymaniyah., Dr. Ayad Kamel Ibrahim, a lecturer at the department of Islamic studies, University of Zakho, participated in the conference with the research entitled " The Difficulties and obstacles against the Kurdish state and legitimate and legal obstacles". Likewise, Mrs. Ghayda Ali Muhammed from English department read and presented her research paper which was titled “The Effect of Using a Learning-Journal, in Teaching Semantics, on the EFL 3rd-Year College Students’ Achievements”. At the end of the conference, the participants were awarded certificates of participation.
